The Walrus Audio Kangra Filter Fuzz is one of the coolest left-field fuzz/filter combos to hit pedalboards in years. Co-designed with guitarist/producer Jared Scharff, the Kangra nails everything from quirky synth-like fuzz to choppy, resonant filter sweeps and envelope-driven funk tones. It’s wild, musical, and just straight-up fun.
The fuzz side delivers a ripping, gated texture reminiscent of vintage Japanese circuits, while the filter section lets you shape it into bubbly auto-wah, throaty sweeps, or touch-responsive vowel sounds. Bassists, guitarists, and synth players all find weird and wonderful uses for this pedal.
