Designed for builders who need a straight TS connector with the smallest possible footprint, the SquarePlug SPS series delivers professional-grade performance in an ultra-compact, heavy-duty form factor. These are widely regarded as the shortest solder-type 1/4" straight plugs available that still include true strain relief.

The SPS design is purpose-built for dense pedalboards, switchers, patch bays, and interfaces where standard straight plugs simply stick out too far. When plugged in, the SPS protrudes only about 21 mm, making it ideal for high-density layouts without resorting to right-angle connectors.

At the core of the SPS series is SquarePlug's proprietary two-screw cable clamping mechanism. Unlike traditional straight plugs that rely on minimal strain relief, this system prevents both axial and lateral cable movement, keeping solder joints completely stress-free and dramatically improving long-term reliability.

The all-metal construction, solder tabs, and included insulation tube make these connectors easy to assemble, easy to service, and durable enough for touring and professional use. Optional color-coded screws can also be added for clean cable identification in complex rigs.
